The kids are old enough to be left home alone for the day, but I have to be there in the evening to cook + sleep overnight + all weekend long when they don't have school.

Mornings & afternoons I cam on Streamate at my apartment, and when I'm done I come back to my uncles house and stay with the kids.

I want to cam at night when the kids sleep, but the issue is I don't want my uncle to find out which websites I'm on (obviously) so I logged into the router to see what kinds of info/logs it keeps. I can delete the logs, but just in case I wanted to make sure he can't see the names of the websites I'm going on.

I attached a screenshot of what the router logs, but I can't make any sense of it and there are no website names displayed.

I'd rather avoid using a VPN because I don't think Streamate allows using those.

This uncle works with computers for a living so I'm a little paranoid LOL! My other family members aren't as computer savvy and don't care what I do, so I never worry about camming when I had to stay with them.

Thanks!

Edit: I am using phone data right now to post this lol but I don't have unlimited and don't want to use tethering for camming as the speeds will suck.

Probably not unless they get on your computer and see your browsing history.

There are different levels of people who work with computers. not all computer people can dig around see the routers browsing history from the users.

My mother thinks I am good on a computer because I make a living from it so she is always asking me for tech problems, but the way her internet is set up in her place there is no way I would know how to do it.
SoloDesire;3189309 wrote:Yes, there is a way to see but it takes some IT skills to access. My boyfriend learned how to do it in college when he went for IT classes, but most people won't know how to. I wouldn't worry about it unless they are specialist IT techs lol.

A programmer would still be in the IT field, however he probably isn't going to be going through all that trouble to check the traffic to see what websites you went to on the router, using a packet sniffer unless he's a super nosy person. He would have to purposely be searching for that information.

innocentindian;3189725 wrote:Can I PM you to ask how I could check the router here then? I'm actually the one who set up the internet + wifi and router in this house because my uncle bought this house but had to leave before the previous owners moved out, and he asked me to furnish it + set up the utilities and internet.

He'll be back in November, but I want to clear any history of what I've been doing before he gets back. After that, I don't care since I won't be working from this house anymore.
